Project background
Obltelecom is a regional telecom operator providing broadband internet, digital TV and related services to households and businesses in parts of Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions. The company needed a modern website that clearly explains its services and tariffs, shows where coverage is available, and provides straightforward paths to contact support or sales.
The goal was to turn a detailed Figma design into a functioning WordPress site that feels consistent with the provider’s brand and is easy for non‑technical staff to update.
The challenge
The client had invested in a custom Figma design, so the main challenge was to implement it accurately in WordPress without relying on a generic theme. The layout included service pages, tariff tables, coverage information and multiple contact options, all of which needed to work well on desktop and mobile.
Another important aspect was clarity for users: the site had to help visitors quickly answer three questions – “Чи є покриття в моєму населеному пункті?”, “Який тариф мені підходить?” і “Як зв’язатися з підтримкою?”.
What I worked on
- Development of a custom WordPress theme based on the Figma design, including templates for the homepage, service pages (internet, TV, etc.), tariffs, and contact/coverage sections.
- Front‑end implementation with attention to typography, spacing, and responsive behaviour so that the design looks consistent across devices while staying readable.
- Structuring content for services and tariffs: separate pages and blocks that explain internet packages, TV offerings and key advantages, with clear calls‑to‑action to connect or request details.
- Building pages and sections that highlight coverage and contact points, including phone numbers, messengers and addresses for support, making it easy for subscribers to find the right channel.
- Configuring the WordPress backend (custom fields, reusable blocks) so the provider’s team can update tariffs, texts and contact information without designer or developer involvement.
Selected screens
Key screens include the homepage with a summary of internet and TV services, tariff pages describing speed options and conditions, and the coverage/contacts sections with detailed support information. Together they present Obltelecom as a regional provider with clear offerings and accessible 24/7 support.
Support and continuous improvement
My role in this project was focused on the implementation phase: translating the Figma design into a custom WordPress theme, setting up the content structure, and delivering a site the client team could manage themselves afterwards. Once the website was launched and handed over, further maintenance and updates were handled on the client’s side.
