StatusM
Real estate website for a Montenegrin agency focused on property sales and rentals along the coast, with a large catalog of apartments, houses, and investment projects.I provide ongoing WordPress development and support, adding new features and refining the listing experience as the catalog and business grow.
Existing website supported over several years through new functionality and continuous improvement.

Project background
Status‑M is a real estate agency based in Montenegro, specialising in the sale and rental of coastal properties, as well as related services such as car rental and individual tourist services. Their website is a key sales channel, used to showcase hundreds of properties for sale and investment, with detailed information and direct contact with managers.
The site needs to work as a searchable catalog for different property types and locations, while staying fast and easy to use for international visitors researching options in Montenegro.
The challenge
The main challenge with this project is not an initial build from scratch, but long‑term development on an already running real estate platform. The website must handle a growing inventory of listings in multiple languages, support filtering and search, and still remain understandable for users who may not know the local market.
At the same time, any new functionality – from improved listing layouts to better enquiry flows – has to fit into the existing structure without disrupting daily usage by the agency team.
What I worked on
- Continuous WordPress development on top of the existing theme and structure, improving layouts, templates, and small UX details where needed.
- Implementation and refinement of catalog features for property sales and rentals: listing pages, detail pages, and category structures (flats, houses, investment projects, residential complexes).
- Work on search and filtering usability so visitors can narrow down properties by type, location, and other key parameters, then easily contact the agency manager.
- Technical support and maintenance: plugin and core updates, troubleshooting, and performance‑related improvements to keep the catalog responsive even as the number of objects grows.
- Adjustments and extensions to content structure and pages as the agency adds new services, complexes, or marketing pages (for example, dedicated pages for specific residential complexes or investment projects).
The focus is on keeping the site practical for both sides: visitors looking for property and the agency team that updates listings and communicates with clients through the website.
Selected screens
Key screens include the property search and listing pages, which show the breadth of apartments, houses, and investment projects, as well as individual property pages with photos, descriptions, and manager contact information. Additional pages like the residential complex “Status” and investment sections highlight how the site presents more complex offers alongside standard listings.Together, these screens illustrate how the site supports both everyday buyers and investors looking for specific opportunities in Montenegro.

Support and continuous improvement
My role on this project is ongoing: I support the site technically, introduce new features when needed, and help adapt the platform as the catalog and business priorities evolve. This long‑term collaboration allows Status‑M to treat the website as a living tool in their sales process, rather than a one‑off build.
Need a clearer WordPress site for a service business?
If you need a WordPress website for a service business, design implementation, or support for an existing site, I would be happy to review the project.
